Alex returns home from being treated in intensive care and sectioned after the tragic death of his sister Sarah. He blames Shane, his sisters ex boyfriend, for her death. Shane, a young gang member, still loiters with his crew near Alex’s home. Alex warns him that there will be consequences, and in the meantime sets about building a memorial to his sisters memory in his front garden. With his mother out at work during the day and Shane’s gang constantly near by, conflict and tension begins to rise. While working Alex manages to meet and make friends with Rose, Shane’s sister, who takes some interest in him. With the memorial developing, Alex continues to collide with Shane until the unimaginable happens.
