With only weeks to live, 13 year-old MARVIN is presented the gift of choosing a celebrity/personality to greet through the Humane Hearts Children’s Appeal Sponsorship Program. To everyone’s surprise, young Marvin elects to forgo meeting his idol and instead asks to meet the person he would have become should he have had the luxury of experiencing adulthood. Representatives of the program; the quirky and attractively edgy NINA, along with FRANK, are given the responsibility of fabricating the make-believe existence of what would’ve been Marvin’s adult life. |
