This film is set in Shanghai during the 90s. Mei is an ordinary fourth grade student from Puxiong primary school. One day Mei accidentally injures a classmate with a wooden stick. As the parents are called in by the school, Mei prepares to take full responsibility of what he’s done. He soon realizes that taking blame in the adult world is not so black and white. |
