Nina’s parents are on a business trip and she is waiting for her boyfriend Paul longingly. Stupidly, Paul has forgotten to buy a bottle of sparkling wine, which is supposed to help realize Nina’s idea of a perfect prelude for their “first time”. The solution to his dilemma has to be the vending machine of the automatized video store he frequents. But the expected salvation turns out to be a nightmare: the vending machine does not function properly, the faulty heating creates unbelievable heat and, worst of all, the entrance door cannot be opened. Sweating Paul is now trapped as in a fish tank and not only has to deal with the darned door but also with violent rockers, drunken security agents and a pair of gay Bavarians. With fantasy and remarkable endurance Paul, who in the meantime is totally sweat-drenched, manages to overcome all obstacles. He finally gets hold of the much desired sparkling wine and can escape from his imprisonment. But Paul has not reached his goal yet, for this crazy evening holds yet another surprise in store for our sweaty hero.
