This is a film about asylum seekers, specifically a music group formed by seekers and their supporters, and it features their original music and songs. However, as asylum seekers cannot be filmed, there are no pictures of them, other than some video of their supporters. Most of the video is of wombats - with some other native animals being fostered and prepared for release. The ‘idea’ of Wombat Soul is that every creature deserves a safe refuge. |
