A documentary about Bernard Chappard, an eccentric eighty-year-old Frenchman, who speaks to Daniela, his daughter who died of AIDS in 1996. It’s a confession of what the relationship with his daughter was really like, of the thoughts and feelings that haunted him during her illness and of how, after her death, his life would never be the same again. “Sin Ti Contigo” is a documentary about fatherhood, AIDS and guilt. It’s the story of a rebellious father who reconnects with his dead daughter. |
