After escaping the dust bowl of Texas, a family struggles to survive in a Californian migrant camp. With Thanksgiving fast approaching, they are resolved to having fried potatoes for dinner, however, three young boys take it upon themselves to surprise their mom when they stumble upon three gobblers by the railroad track. The surprise is short-lived when the law comes calling and they have to answer to their father. |
