This documentary about an Austin based newspaper written by, distributed , produced, and sold by the homeless of Austin. This gives them a way to make money to get off the streets and be able to give them a creative voice to be heard on all kinds of topics. From living on the street, to writing, to taking stands on political issues that affect them personally. The stories are gritty and heart warming. This short was shown at a special showcase at the SXSW Film Festival. It is now in production again to make a longer version for the film festival circuit. |
