Based on true stories and shot in a socio-realistic fashion, Needles and Pins thrusts you in to the world of Tony and Jeff, two lads who are hopelessly addicted to heroin and are united by their love of the drug. But Tony has a girlfriend - a relationship he desperately wants to hold on to. He wants to come off the heroin. However, Jeff has other motivations, trying to coerce Tony in to crime to score a final hit. After getting caught, Tony goes in to rehab and Jeff goes to prison. But with Jeff due for release and Tony struggling to win back Julie’s affections, will they succumb to the syringe and reunite their friendship? Or will Tony summon the strength to walk away from his past. |
