Two filmmakers, a father and son team, turned their cameras Northward to create the documentary, ‘North into the Mist.’ This 50 minute documentary follows two Norwegian scientists, Yngve Kristoffersen and his student, Gaute Hope, who set out on a three month expedition in a small hovercraft to the Polar Ice Cap. Their intention is to prove a theory about an asteroid hit millions of years ago. The film documents the entire expedition and the difficulties and successes encountered along the way. The presenter-narrator is another scientist, colleague who is a renowned, American born scientist Dr. John K. Hall, a retired Marine Geophysicist from the Geological Survey of Israel. The film was produced and directed by Neil Weisbrod and Ariel Weisbrod. |
