The film addresses the hesitations and untruthfulness that comes from the perimeters of what is socially acceptable in modern day society. Even with the increase in sexual openness we still live in an era of repressed self expression and self bullying. People often hesitate from saying or doing things they wanted for the fear of being ostracized from their family, friends, and institutions. It exposes the inconsistencies of politics and sexuality while presenting a positive message about learning to be yourself and accepting others as they are. |
