‘Flicker’ is what happens in between the frames. In this short experimental work the filmmaker looks at how persistence-of-vision tricks us into ignoring the darkness between projected frames of film, and thinks out loud about how that mirrors other aspects of our lives, like the way we connect the dots of memory and experience, trying to make sense out of this big jumbled home movie we call life. |
