The film focusses on a tragic couple who have run away from their troubles to be back in Paris where their roller coaster love affair began. Romain is a failed musician whose glory has faded while Daphne carries with her an inconsolable guilt. She feels responsible for Romain’s decline and their isolation from everything they have ever known. Romain’s pain and his lover guilt leads to a momentum that they can not control. A force that blinds them. Guiding them towards the most tragic conclusion love can draw. Together forever is tested by the condemned journey of two tragic lovers. |
