In 1910 the Carroll County Confederate Monument was dedicated. Over the past 100 years he has looked northward on three sites in Carrollton, Georgia always looking northward against any sign of Yankee invasion, even while being moved around town during the moves. The documentary ends with the 2010 re-dedication of the monument at its third site where it has stood since 1976. This documentary looks at the history of the monument and touches on how it fits into the larger themes of United States history. |
