A new type of film that has surfaced over the last ten years is that of the ‘found footage.’ But what is the context of the footage the audience is shown? They are not raw, they’ve been edited to cut out bits and pieces not necessary for the narrative. This film is about a private detective that videos his case and the police detectives that watch his footage. It is presented as it would if you found someone’s SD card or videotape straight out of the camera. |
