If they wanted to make just another sci-fi then they should do that but they didn’t they made a show based on the books and then change everything that made the story good. some of the people in the show were only bit players who played a small part then were no longer part of the story, but they are changing them to fill other peoples rolls so they can keep the same actors, which is just spolling the vastness of the story.
because a bunch of no talent hacks could not come up with an original story ? And instead ruin one of the best sci fi stories ever written to make money off the name ?? lol get a grip
