I’m 99% sure you have already seen this but on the off chance you somehow missed it, try The Strain. I agree with your comment about being done to death and the Strain was like a breath of fresh air. It was helmed by Guillermo del Toro if you needed any more convincing. Funny how I’m sick to death of all these Vamp and Zombi shows, yet every time a new one is announced I get excited,lol. I’m looking forward to watching this even though the synopsis sounds just like the show from last January, The Passage, minus the child.
I’m several more episodes into this now, and rather liking it, seems it’s more into the acting and plot then the flash bang and such, which I’m rather liking at the moment.
Saw the strain, really liked that, miss it. Was well done, from start to finish, always liked Del Toro’s work, always a great job from that guy! Never let’s you down!
