I’m out. I gave it a couple of episodes but it’s turning into a melodrama with a bit of blood. It checks almost every box when it comes to cliche characters, none of which are remotely likeable. It’s like a mix of Helix/The Strain with a bad case of The Ships cheesy writing style and OTT dramatic delivery.
Well they did pick the most smoldering Vamp this side of Twilight to star, lol. I get that he’s not a vamp but the dude is not helping his effort to pervent being typecast down the road. You gave me goosebumps by saying it’s a mix Of Helix and The Strain, Two of the best genre related shows of the past 20 years. Dammit now I have to google why Helix got the axe, had heard a season 3 was coming but that was years ago. Still can’t deal with The Passage being canceled either, They had a whole book series to mine info from, instead it looks like they changed it to this since the synopsis both sound the same, minus the child.
