Here I am to properly get people mad at me.
It’s not a good argument to use statistics and percentages to prove a point. Most things are not reported by men or women so the numbers are just not complete. It might be easier to prove that men are more aggressive but that doesn’t mean it’s true.
At the end of the day, people are good and evil and it doesn’t matter if you are a guy or a girl. Women are abused, men are abused. That is a fact and if we choose to hate each other instead of coming together to find better solutions then we will keep going in circles and not getting anywhere.
I will leave you with one question.
Do you think we have made any great amount of progress in stopping abuse for anyone in the last 50 years? Or have we just been blaming each other and getting no where?

Interesting, but not accurate. Most victims/survivors of abuse blame themselves. That’s the largest reason behind not reporting or waiting a very long time to do so.
