There is a string of these movies about women war correspondents right now, most real, but also ‘Civil War’ which - while presenting fictional characters - focuses on passing the torch between generations.
I think there’s a Zeitgeist as to the need for women to record war, in a way that HIStory will become a more accessible lesson to all humans, rather that simple statistics about tanks, missiles, and collateral damage estimated in $$.
