My brother lives in Tulsa and I asked him if he has watched it and he said no. I was rather shocked and I find myself watching closely to see if I can figure out where certain scenes are filmed. A lot is also filmed in Oklahoma City. Dwight does stick out like a sore thumb but you can’t help but like him and his crew.
Most things aren’t filmed where they are set…zero Michigan scenes in Mayor of Kingstown, it’s all shot in Ontario. Whoever has the biggest film grants and tax incentives.
