These two movies are so similar in structure and characters, that I think the writers were heavily influenced from their childhood.
I like “Heat” a little more, simply because the cast was so good. It’s considered one of the best heist films of the 90’s, so I’m not alone on that. 8.3 out of 731k votes on IMDB. 4.3/5 here.
