British retail is vastly-changing, and the face of Brits shopping habits has drastically changed in the last few years. After a struggle in the economy, there has been a boom in the discount retail sector. In the UK, shoppers are moving towards the pound stores, second-hand shops, and clearance sales- we are going so far as to buying in bulk to save a few pence. Bargain Fever Britain is a two part documentary series giving viewers access to the four major UK discount businesses who are managing to survive in a retail landscape where none of us want to pay the full price for products. |
