A wonderful look at the world of comedy from the perspective of the comedians and club managers at the start of the big LA scene. The characters are inspired from people who were there. Funny, dramatic, and sadly moving. It is even sadder because the series was cut down too soon.
I love this series. Itโs based on an equally amazing book about Mitzi Shore and the history of the Comedy Store.
