Morecambe, a pretty seaside town in Lancashire, north-west England, still has its fair share of crimes and mysteries despite its reputation as a sunny resort. The Bay follows the police officers living and working in the area as they untangle the complexities of criminal cases while also trying to help the families and individuals caught up in them.
The family liaison officers, an integral part of the team, work to assist the main investigators by gathering information from the family involved with as much care and empathy as possible. However, when boundaries between personal and professional lives start to blur, explosive situations can result in everyone getting hurt.

Thanks !! 8/10
Good series, looking forward to season 3.
I thought this was going to be about the world-famous and esteemed director Michael Bay. How disappointing.
Producer of “Songbird”!
ugh
Lol. Michael Bay has a lot of “ugh” in his career!
tru dat
It seems I started watching this, then just got lost. I don’t remember how far I got, so I’ll have to start all over.
This is a massively awful series — typical ITV fare, with a strong element of soap opera (melodramatic occurrences, many fraught glances) and abysmal writing that presents 2-dimensional characters who periodically act not in character because Plot Twist #46 requires Action #31. (Rule #1 of good writing: Character determines plot, not vice versa.)
Huge waste of time, huge waste of some acting talent — as is the case with ITV, the cast was a blend of some wonderful actors (Morven Christie, James Cosmo) and some unskilled soap-opera regulars.
Awful awful awful.
