From executive producer Stephen Colbert comes this hilarious look into the Trump presidency, animation style. Starring two-dimensional avatars of Donald Trump and his merry band of insiders and family members, this cutting-edge comedy presents the truish adventures of Trump, his confidants and bon vivants. It's a workplace comedy where the office is oval, a character study in search of character, and a timely political send-up of our always-colorful forty-fifth president and his family. Trust us, it's yuge, and you're going to laugh bigly.

More truthful than Fox and funnier than Covid 45..

ltcg5 4 points 4 years ago.

This show is too good!

veritech 3 points 4 years ago.

This show is funny….10 out of 10

ShadowWizard 2 points 4 years ago. 1/5 stars.

bad attempt at jokes, unfunny and wrong characterizations… leave the political comedy to the only few that are capable off it like Matt Stone and Trey Parker

nowt -1 points 5 years ago*. 4/5 stars. (Contains Spoilers)

A theme song Colbert just might let Trump use on the trail.

ObserverMI -4 points 5 years ago. 1/5 stars.

They missed the point, the point to be funny. You can have political fun yet you have to lean on the ‘fun’ and not the ‘politics’ and they fail. Good production, well done on the characters and most voices (though some are way off) and the characters look good. Yet no matter how much lipstick a pig is still a pig and this is a pig. Too bad, it could maybe have been fun.

Bernie Sanders looks a lot more like a cartoon, than President Trump….but I guess the Democrats aren’t going to allow Bernie to win, even if he does! …so it’s five more years of our “Cartoon President”! I’m looking forward to it!

Be honest: you’ve not watched the show, have you? There are constant Democrat jokes. See we ‘leftist libtards’ can have a joke at our own expense, why can’t you fascists?

“You’ll have almost five more years of President Trump” I actually agree but only because, if there’s one thing I’ve learnt, it’s that you can’t under-estimate the average American voter. And yes, I have watched the show (and the Colbert show, more of a Conan guy myself though); hence why I know they also rip Democrats (something you’ve still not acknowledged). I don’t really know why you posted a bunch of negative reviews. I could as easily produce a load of positive ones with the same total lack of a point (Jake Nevins of ‘the Guardian’ gave it 5 stars… so what).

“You’ll have almost five more years of President Trump” I actually agree but only because if he’s not re-elected he’ll refuse to leave.

Badger 5 points 5 years ago. 5/5 stars.

I also “actually agree”. If I’m right then we’ll re-elect Trump with the same bullshit lack of an actual democratic majority which’ll create all kinds of complaints (but, hopefully, the next Democratic President might finally get rid of the system of electors all together and institute a system which recognises that California has 60 times the population of Wyoming and assign voting power accordingly; I’d suggest one person, one vote, with no state based relativity) or, if you’re right, Trump’ll be voted out of office and refuse to acknowledge the legitimacy of the election thus leading to election reform plus Trump being imprisoned for several felonies. I can’t really lose. The nihilist in me is kinda looking forward to the next election; the more rational part of me is fucking dreading it though.

You’re in luck!
They have exactly what you described. Just what you’re looking for. It’s called Fox News.

[deleted]
etim -1 points 5 years ago*.

Huh? What does that have to do with anything?

Besides, Fox news is NOT part of the Fox network. Except for having similar names, Fox News is not at all associated with the Fox network and has totally separate owners.

[deleted]
etim -2 points 5 years ago*.

Yeah, you got me digging into it. The sales and divisions between disney and fox are a LOT more complicated and convoluted than just fox news et al.
For me or anyone to call any entity ‘fox network’ anymore is pretty inaccurate.

LOL! Some ppl just **(deleted—don’t wanna show ‘em how to if they don’t already know)* downvoting.

I can do something as harmless as adding an IMDB link and expect 3 or more downvotes.

Invalid ID 1 points 4 years ago. 2/5 stars.

the voices and animation suck imho. at least come close to the actual voices. the humor is even lackluster. i am always up for a good political lampooning, this ain’t it.
