Bruised, abused, and on the verge of collapse, heroin-addled Molly shows up at the house of her heartbroken, long-suffering mother, Deb, seeking help. But ten painful years of estrangement, drug use, and addiction have taken a toll on the already fragile mother-and-daughter relationship. Because, so far, Molly has been through detox more than a dozen times, yet she still shows no signs of recovering. Now, a doctor offers Molly a shred of hope—a monthly shot of an opioid antagonist, a potent agent that prevents toxic substances from binding to the central nervous system. However, there’s a catch: Molly must stay clean for four long, excruciating, faith-challenging days to receive the promising treatment. The question is, can Molly respond to Deb’s tough love?

This is going to be a heart wrenching movie… Mila looks tore back! Finally playing a more realistic part… Not afraid to look the part… That’s how awards are won. Glen is amazing, hopefully they nail the portrayal of addiction… It’s not an easy one to get right! Not many do but if they can it’s very powerful.
when does this come out? says may 7th but no links….
It’s out now Hun :-)
yes I already watched it lol, that comment was before. but thank you!
M.D. Gave me the link to see this movie. I don’t have time to watch it now but it has amazing actors. Thanks once again. :) We have always seemed to have the same taste in movies. It is so hard to reconcile the Glenn Close I grew up with, the sexy lady in Fatal Attraction to the Grandma roles that she plays now. Heck we are all getting old. I think she’s aging gracefully and other aging actors should take stock in what she is doing not filling their faces full of fillers that in my opinion doesn’t look good anyway.
I really enjoyed this movie. It gives you an up close and personal point of view of the addict but also, the family member that is taken the role to “save” the addict from herself which is an impossible role to play in life. The addict must be the one that saves themselves. Another point they made which I thought was important is that the addict makes a forever scar on the trust of family members that is never going to fully heal. Great job by the actors and production 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
