`The Syndicate' follows a group of colleagues who are members of a lottery-playing syndicate. Each season follows a different group of people, from supermarket employees, to those who work in a hospital, a group of housekeeping and grounds staff at a stately home, and staff at a kennel. When each group finds that they are holding a winning ticket and their lives are about to undergo massive upheaval, they are also faced with a series of personal problems and moral dilemmas. Inevitably, the jackpot winners discover that money does not necessarily solve problems, or buy happiness. |
