This French series is one of the very best crime series. Right up there beside, Breaking Bad, The Shield, The Wire, 24hrs, The Sopranos ect.

Looks like some very kind soul has posted all the links up to season 7 - I was a huge fan of the first four or five seasons then for some reason I couldn’t find any links to the rest and got distracted by other things.
I’m really looking forward to catching up with the newer seasons as Spiral/Engrenages is without a doubt one of the best cop shows ever to grace the small screen, perhaps not as iconic as The Wire or Hill Street Blues, but still an absolute tour de force as the French probably never say!

I totally forgot about the SHIELD !I’ll admit The Shield Is pretty close and in the same vain as “Engrenages”(spiral in English ) and the Shield is well written with layered plots and good character development ….its actually pretty good smart TV but those other shows on Commercial networks (anything NBC,CBS,ABC is just made to distract illiterate slack jawed drooling retards long enough to get them to sit through 15 minutes of fast food commercials, medical drug commercials (illegal here in Canada) and ads for Lincoln continentals ) and an insult to anyone’s intelligence and I’m not interested . (If only every cop show was as brilliant as “the WIRE”!!!!)
