Alan and the team head to Bolton to surprise 39-year-old RSPCA officer Caroline Hall, and turn her wasteland of a garden into something she will love to spend time in. This is the longest, thinnest plot they have ever tackled, and the idea is to transform it into a spectacular animal-friendly haven. Tragically, this outdoors girl and life-long animal lover was left completely paralysed from her neck down following a near fatal spinal stroke at the age of just 33, resulting in her once beloved garden becoming an overgrown and inaccessible wilderness. But with some clever design, and a few top tips, Alan and the team turn it into a garden that Caroline is not only free to move around in, but one she absolutely falls in love with as well. |
