In this programme, the oncology ward at the Small Animal Hospital at Glasgow Vet School treats many forms of cancer. Professor Clare Knottenbelt is in charge of Skippy the collie's chemotherapy treatment, and radiographer Shona Burnside is treating another dog, Harry, with radiotherapy. Meanwhile, vet Romain Pizzi is busy tending birds at the Wildlife Rescue Centre near Alloa, where an injured sedge warbler and peregrine falcon are in for treatment.
