Clever and quick-witted Qiao (played by Song Zu'er), the daughter of the Qiao family, is dedicated to her country. She enters into an arranged marriage with Wei Shao (played by Liu Yuning), the fearless and strategic leader of the Wei clan. At first, ancestral grudges create a barrier between them, leading to a marriage where they won't lower their guard with each other. Amidst their many clashes, their journey is a mix of laughter and tears. As they navigate their way through the challenges, Qiao and Wei Shao gradually find themselves drawn to each other's brilliance, resourcefulness, and open-mindedness. Before they realize it, their hearts have been touched, and their bond grows stronger. Their shared understanding allows them to mend family conflicts and, together, bring harmony and serenity to the people after weathering adversity. |
