The series tells the story of a cruise ship that takes in shipwrecked refugees and is inspired by the book "Bilal" by investigative journalist Fabrizio Gatti. In it, Gatti reports on his experiences during his journey along the Saharan routes, where there are not only refugees from Africa, but also many human traffickers who try to make a business out of the migrants' misery. |
