I think there are 4 billion people on earth who owe their life to capitalism. Annual global famines no longer kill millions every year. Thank you too, for hospitals so YOU could be born alive, and your mother lived thru childbirth, what say you?

Given that the US is supposedly the model of capitalism, and capitalism is responsible for modern medicine, then why does U.S. women’s health rank on par with Kazakhstan? Advances in science aren’t dependent on capitalism.

Thank you.

On par with Kazakhstan according to an index heavily dependent on preventative care in the form of testing for life-threatening conditions. An index created by Hologic Inc., a company that happens to profit off of said testing. An index that found two of the best countries for women’s health to be Taiwan and Kuwait. Totally sending my wife to Al Riqqa for her mammograms from now on.

Great medical care is available in the US, if you can afford it. That’s the problem with our capitalistic for-profit health care system, far too many can’t afford it.
