All the months that the war is going on, mutual accusations of fascism are perhaps the only thing that unites Kyiv with Moscow. "Neo-Nazism", "fascism", "denazification" - each of the terms during this time has turned into a curse without meaning. Dozhd journalist Konstantin Goldenzweig undertook to compare what is happening in Russia today with what was once happening in the homeland of these concepts - in Europe in the 1930s. About many things: from Auschwitz to Stalingrad - to this day it is known to any schoolchild. But how did these regimes come about? What were they?
