I found this very boring and tedious to watch, especially that fake accent from John Malkovich and his “phoned in” performance or lack thereof.

I’ve never been a person of fashion and have my own style, but this drama could be interesting because it does take place during WWII. Christian Dior [Ben Mendelsohn], Coco Chanel [Juliette Binoche], John Malkovich portrays Lucien Lelong, and Glenn Close steps into the heels of Carmel Snow.

I have no style so it’ll be nice to see some.

Really interesting and touching perspective of how the war affected Parisienne fashion houses, focusing mainly on Dior and Channel. I’m waiting for each new episode to arrive, wish I could watch more than one at a time. I highly recommend this series.

probably is a good movie, but in my eyes just another movie portraying the rich and powerful who make clothes like there for everyone, I’ve worked in the clothing industry making clothes and believe me when in the factory each garment costs about 3.50 to make, from the laying to the cutting and to the machinists , its all the same material until we sow a label on it which says Dior or another name and then it goes into the showrooms and its valued at 3000 a piece only available for the so called rich , who by the way never have or never will give a crap about the middle/working class…. so yeah will not be watching it

So far, the first three episodes are amazing. You don’t have to be a fashion lover to watch it, just a fan of character dramas. Great acting, and I learned something new about WWII from a French occupation perspective. I only wish we could binge watch the remaining episodes.
