Set in Detroit, the corporate executives of Payne Motors are at a crossroads: adapt to the changing times or be sent to the junkyard. Shaking things up is the new CEO, whose leadership, experience and savvy is only slightly offset by her complete lack of knowledge about cars. Luckily, her team has some of the best minds in the business - when they aren't fighting or trying to outwit each other. From the corporate office to the factory floor, the crew of Payne Motors is driving home the laughs.

I gave it four episodes and it just wasn’t working for me. I could tell when they were trying to make jokes, but they just weren’t connecting. It’s too bad too with Ana Gasteyer taking the lead.
I agree. They try too hard & the jokes end up flat.
I recommend the show as a watch. It’s not super mocumentory like Modern Family and it’s not simple minded like a lot of 30 min comedy shows. It’s witty without being in your face.
Not quite as funny (yet) as Superstore (that one built up A LOT of running jokes and that takes time) and not as satirically biting as Better Off Ted, but if you liked either/both of those shows, then you’ll probably like this one too. Enjoyable.
