What a cast, I can’t wait!
Saw all the raves and watched from the beginning and couldn’t stop binging. I remember these times, I was travelling a lot and had politically active school friends in the UK. This feels so real to me, classic Maggie government. It brought that whole era right back. Amazing cast. Really well done. 5/5
I again forgot about this drama. Will need to watch season 1 again and season 2 started in late August. Got some catching up to do and thank goodness I’m on vacation this week.
I only watched season 1 because of Joanne Froggatt, and it was so long between seasons, I forgot the plot. Started watching S2, but it just didn’t hold my interest.
Update on a season 2 and possibly airing this fall! The second season will introduce two new families, who become entangled with the Sparrows from the first run, entering a complex web of local gangs, old rivalries, revenge, and betrayal. At the same time, a new Sheriff of Nottingham fights passionately against a proposed new mine, which brings the promise of much-needed new jobs, but unwelcome reminders of the legacy that has mired the community.
