The Bite follows an unexpected, deadly second wave of the coronavirus outbreak in New York City. It follows the lives of two neighbors, Rachel and Lily, as they navigate life in quarantine in New York City. While Rachel juggles her many telemedicine clients as well as a shaky, passionless marriage, Lily is upstairs just trying to convince her Wall Street clientele that her very specific skillset is still just as valuable over video as it was in person. When an unexpected, deadly second wave of the virus arrives, we follow these two women as they face unprecedented times while still juggling their careers, their loved ones - and possibly...the end of the world?

great series, they should have kept going, the ending was bad IMO.

Ha! I watched the first two episodes yesterday at ATX fest and now the whole season is added! :) perfect timing!

Just starting it. I saw where it was compared to ‘Braindead” (great show!). What do you think?

Peevee 2 points 3 years ago*.

It definitely has elements of “Braindead” (same creators, too, Robert and Michelle King) but a lot of the show is done via zoom. There are some scenes that aren’t zoom-y but a good percentage of the show is “made during quarantine, zoom room stuff. I know a lot of people don’t like that style (heck, I’m pretty sick of that style myself!) So I’m just warning you. Its nowhere near as polished as “Braindead” was!

etim 2 points 3 years ago.

Yeah, either zoom it or wait till the studios reopened. On the bright side, shows filmed during the pandemic might live on and be watched for their historic (and nostalgic) value in future years.
Unless it turns out to be true…Muahahahaha…

That’s enough to get me to try it

loved braindead, shame it was cancelled after one season, braindead would have been off being released in the last 2 or 3years

Tardis3162 1 points 3 years ago.

Braindead was a great show!! Mary Elizabeth Winstead is among my favorite actresses…and she was beyond fantastic in that show. Also it never hurts to have some Tony Shalhoub. Should have never been canceled!!

Peevee 1 points 3 years ago.

I loved “Braindead”. This is only okay and mostly confined to zoom rooms which really makes it look cheap imho.

i tried searching for “braindead” an so many film came up, does anyone know what year “braindead” was released?
