The One is set five minutes in the future, in a world where a DNA test can find your perfect partner – the one person you're genetically predisposed to fall passionately in love with. No matter how good your relationship, which one of us can honestly say we haven't thought about whether there is someone better out there? What if a hair sample is all it takes to find them? The idea is simple, but the implications are explosive. We will never think of love and relationships in the same way again. |

This show will be interesting to compare to Soulmates as both shows share a similar concept (i.e. a test that is able to find everyone’s perfect match/soul mate).
I liked it. it’s a good show
Someone post if this gets any more interesting. I’ve watched 2 eps and it basically seems like a crime investigation with a just enough science mentioned to barely be able to call it a syfi. Too drawn out and slow for me to watch all 8 eps just to see how it ends—or if it has a decent ending at all.
Too much back and forth, time-wise..8 to 10 times each episode, is too much…!!!!!!
