Making the character of Matthew autistic was certainly an unexpected quirk of the series. It works though and makes him more endearing. All in all a good series so far. I was afraid the series might be another one of those “yuckin’ it up with my ol’ buddy Jesus” things, but they show reverence while also showing Jesus as very personable and human, dealing with the same struggles we do, and not just “above it all”. Bravo!

This movie is so good. I can’t wait for season three.

Fun fact - the creator of this, Dallas Jenkins, defaced billboards of his own show to get publicity. Let that sink in.

Fact Check: This is only partially true. He did not deface his own billboards. The billboards where manufactured to look like they had been defaced. It is called a marketing ploy. One that is deceitful and in poor taste I will grant you. They should not have stooped to the level or use the same tactics of the opposition if they are to going to try and maintain the moral highground.

You are more then welcome to interpret my use of the word opposition as you see fit. The fact that you jump to the conclusion that I am speaking of anyone that has different ideals then I as the “opposition” say more about you then it does me. I veiwed you’re comment as “opposition” and somewhat antagonistic so it needed a fact checked. I am not a Christian nor am I devout in any religious beleif. That does not stop me from enjoying a good story. In my mind the opposition are the Jessie Smolettes and Bubba Wallaces of the world that stage beating or see racism and bigotry in everything and use it to garner sympathy and grievance clout among the grievance hucksters.

that guy loves to comment on everything where he doesnt agree. He is notorious for that, its quite amusing.

Can’t believe his father would make Jesus take the fall for his creation’s sins. Dad needed to step up and take personal responsibilities for his creations. Jesus is too nice a guy and needs to stand up to his father.

Watched the first 3 episodes of this so far, think it was, about ready to take a deeper dive into it. I like doing my Bible study, and so far I like how they are doing the background into the peoples lives. At first I wasn’t sure if I was going to like that, but they are doing a good job of that. The acting is really good, and when the guy playing Jesus was interacting with the children, I was watching that really close, and I remember thinking to myself, ‘Yeah, I can really see Him doing that…’.

I honestly have high hopes for this. hoping it pans out well doctrinally, a lot of times these things butcher it, but I have a feeling that these guys have really good intent and will make every attempt to do an accurate job.

Gonna try and watch a few more episodes tonight, this is really pretty good so far.

i am not a believer but this is some great acting.

I have just started watching the third season; this is something else and really brings the message of the word to life.

well we got to love GOD

Well, just discovered this. My best streaming site does not have this, but put in a request, and they are pretty good and putting up stuff when they get requests, I did find a site that has the first 2 seasons.

I am interested to see how accurate these guys are at keeping it real. Seems you guys like this pretty good. I normally don’t watch these as Hollywood tends to muck these things up really bad, but watched the trailer and was hopeful as it was not a Hollywood production and was Crowdfunded.

I have a surgery coming up the 23rd and it’s on my shoulder, and won’t be able to write or type, as my right arm will be out of commission for a bit, so this will give me something to do for a while if it’s any good, along with catching up on a bit of reading. Really hopeful for this.

I know it is in the Bible. But it was dishonorable to his mother being missing 3 days. He was being narcissistic the way he spoke to her. I am sure God would agree. Jesus was a boy.
