This is actually getting pretty interesting. I like it so far, at first I was worried they were trying to pass Sara off as a teen but I was wrong. Sara is a bit of a hipster school teacher with a heavy grunge influence. This series has already started to touch on sensitive topics such as racism towards indigenous people, which is something we don’t see in mainstream series very often. It was done in a pretty family friendly way, no swearing or actual violence. I was pleasantly surprised to see they had a first nations actor and it was great to see a show not only attempt to break the stereotype but bring attention to a type of microagression that’s commonly used. I’m looking forward to the next episode.

Predictable with relationships that flip on a whim. Meh! Not for me.
