I’m all in after watching first episode, such a great blend of the old Child’s Play in the new age. I also love that they’re delving into Chucky’s past using all the original cast. I wonder if they’ll show Glen and Glenda. This story so far is really interesting with great new characters also, can’t wait to see what the big finale is.
Don Mancini has mentioned interest in bringing back glen and glenda has the ending of seed of chucky does really set up a good series about them

Whoa I just seen the commercial… I don’t know about this, I’ll watch because I’m a diehard Child’s Play fan but I just hate the look of this new Chucky. I prefer the old Chucky look. 🤷🏾♂️

Right? I keep seeing people complaining about the look, likes its wrote and directed by Mancini the creator of Childs Play. Its the original look and all animatronic no cgi or anything. Not to mention he would only do it if the networks let him keep it an R rating, “sense thats the only way you can properly do ‘Chucky.’ “

That was 2 months ago dude, the Chucky they had in the posters and trailer looked totally different than the 1 from the first episide.
No it wasn’t different, it was the same animatronic Chucky they’ve been using for all the films since this is a direct continuation of the main franchise. It follows after Cult of Chucky which also used the original look, so I don’t know what you saw since I just looked back at the old trailers on Youtube to figure out what you’re talking about.

As this gets farther along in the storyline, I can’t help but wonder if they’ll manage to thwart Chucky or if he’ll just move on to a new town and murder his way through a season 2.
