Trail of Evil is about the murders of two women committed 8 years apart. First, the 1979 murder of bar manager and aspiring singer Harriett Simmons goes unsolved despite police work. In 1987, Jerri Ann Jones vanishes after getting off work at a Charlotte grocery store. Twenty years later, a random tip connects the two cases. |
