I had high hope of this, pretty decent cast, Jared Padalecki may not be the best actor in the world, but he’s not the worst either. Coming off of the success of Supernatural to this, is very disappointing.
Most “re-makes” keep some resemblance of the original show and just give it an updated twist.
Magnum P.I., MacGyver, S.W.A.T., Hawaii Five-0 are perfect examples of “re-makes” done RIGHT. They are different but still familiar, they stay fairly true to the original and they are enjoyable.
This on the other hand, feels like they took the original action packed, crime fighting, Walker, Texas Ranger, drop kicked it in the head, spat on it and tossed it into a bottomless pit. Then made this crappy, generic, family drama. 2 episodes in and it is just dreadful, I will not be trying a 3rd episode.
Didn’t like it, looks like just another mainstream cop show with the usual predictable story line. Watched the first episode, no more

Saw this comin. He’s way to pretty for knock down action.Ya just know contact says “dont hit the face,” Now if they had called i Walking tall and hired Negan and lucille then they woulda had a show worth watchin.

You’re totally missing out! You really should watch the old Chuck Norris version of “Walker: Texas Ranger”. I never watched it during the series initial first airing on network TV however, I have enjoyed watching the cheesy-bad/its great goodness that it has become (it’s a lot like watching the old CHIPS or Charlies Angels or Renegade shows from the 70ies and 90ies era) plus also…it’s Chuck Norris who is a total “God” too (LOL!!)
Wooo Hoooo, extra eye-candy :D. I like it. Just finished 3rd episode and it is good. Not the same as the old Walker with Chuck Norris (love me some Chuck Norris) but its more of a family feel-good show. Would like to see the new Walker with a few karate moves though. Too few of the good shows on so putting this one on my favorites. Enjoy!

Well this sucks. No season 5. This has been one of my favorite shows. I hope everyone lands on some other good shows ( not on cw).

Canadian pop band memories
Yes I said this and I don’t mean in a good way. The band in question was Prism and in 1980 they released an album who’s name was the same as track 2 . The Young and The Restless. Now when I see this show I forever hear that song in my head.. I don’t think the band when writing this song meant it to parody the soap opera but the writers of this show obviously do. I had hoped for so much more from this but it’s the CW and I think that’s all they know.
Another show with not guts and going nowhere. Gave it a shot and have given up!

The Rangers are pretty much obsolete. One of the few functions they have left is to investigate local police forces accused of misconduct and it should surprise no one that they rarely rule against their fellow cops. They have a nasty history and in no way deserve to be idolized. But hey, we Americans love a bit of whitewashed history that in no way resembles reality.
