Sometimes irreverent and funny, sometimes intense and moving, Boston Legal prides itself on being at the forefront of issue-oriented television, often addressing issues that are underreported by the media. Fast-paced and wildly comedic, the series confronts social and moral issues, while its characters continually stretch the boundaries of the law.

I found this show when I was looking for my James Spader fix to replace my binge watching of The Blacklist when I’d taken all that I could of the Elizabeth Keen character. I loved his Raymond Reddington character and enjoyed every minute of the episodes I’d watched and desperately wanted to find something else of his to watch that I had missed the first time around - enter BOSTON LEGAL!

I never thought I’d say it but I love it even more than The Blacklist. It’s so cleverly written, so funny, so interesting and entertianing to watch. And now that I’m already on Season 3 (as I’ve only been watching this show) I thought it was time to leave a comment.

William Shatner and James Spader are utterly brilliant in this show :) :) I could watch just the two of them all day long!!! They are so funny, so larger than life and their onscreen relationship is so adorable, plus the storyline never dissapoints - every episode is wonderful entertainment and you never know what is going to happen next!

I’m sorry I didn’t know about this show when it first came out :( I wish they had made more Seasons than they actually did as it’s such a fantastic concept with endless storyline possibilities - such a shame! :( I think the show was around at a time when shows being renewed for over 3-4 Seasons was unheard of. If it had been out now I’m sure they would be doing Season 12-14 at least!

Thanks to the Blacklist, I’m binging this all over again. I recall this being phenomenal when it aired. Now due to fibro fog, I’ll be able to watch as if I’ve never seen it.

Also “The Practice” was excellent too, now on my list for tv that will never disappoint.

Well, it took me 3 or 4 weeks to watch it from start to finish (never seen it before) but it was “WELL worth it”. Spader and Shatner were hilarious and as I said once before about it, there is no line this show will hesitate to cross (definitely not PC lol)…I wish it was still going!

One of the most well-written, intelligent shows of all time. I miss the days when not every single television show or movie had an agenda to force on the masses.
