The winner of 6 Emmy Awards including Outstanding Drama Series, Homeland is an edge-of-your-seat sensation. Marine Sergeant Nicholas Brody is both a decorated hero and a serious threat. CIA officer Carrie Mathison is tops in her field despite being bipolar. The delicate dance these two complex characters perform, built on lies, suspicion, and desire, is at the heart of this gripping, emotional thriller in which nothing short of the fate of our nation is at stake.

If you’re a fan of Homeland and Claire Danes, she is going to be in a new limited series. The Beast in Me is created by Gabe Rotter, Netflix says the mystery thriller revolves around “acclaimed author Aggie Wiggs, who since the death of her young son has receded from public life, unable to write, a ghost of her former self. But she finds an unlikely subject for a new book when the house next door is bought by Nile Sheldon, a famed and formidable real estate mogul who was once the prime suspect in his wife’s disappearance. At once horrified and fascinated by this man, Aggie finds herself compulsively hunting for the truth - chasing his demons while fleeing her own - in a game of cat and mouse that might turn deadly.”
Jodie Foster is an executive producer.
Good Series. I give it 4 out of 5 Crying Carrie’s.
I have a question… but first I must admit that I haven’t watched all the episodes up til now. I have completed the first 5 seasons and cpl episodes of the 6th season…but the gist of what I’ve seen in this story so far is the main character screws up over and over again by making egregious errors in judgement. Then, by 1 major event (usually in the last episode or 2 of each season), completely redeems herself or at least is mostly forgiven by her peers after saying “It won’t happen again”, this phrase was uttered at least a half dozen times…Is this the premise? Or is it just me? Usually, I think she is ultimately trying to do the right thing but goes about it all wrong. The old phrase ‘The end justifies the means’ comes to mind as i watch this show. To be clear, I’m not a hater & I actually kinda like the show most of the time but admit that I do get irritated by her actions at times.
Was just curious if I’m alone in this assessment…?
Maybe it’s just me.. but I could not get into this show. I kept watching up through 10 maybe and finally gave it up. But keep on rockin y’all.. glad so many love it..it’s just not my cup of tea.
I love the series but I “SO” wanted Carrie to die so much.
She got so many killed because of her INEPTITUDE & Careless Recklessness.
Claires character got away with so much DIRT,I CALL SHENANIGANS
