Produced and directed by Constantin Preda, Automatic Reset is the first music video by Sad Robot. Shot over 2 days in downtown Los Angeles at the historic Hotel Normandie, it’s a blend of Instagram style, 1970’s Los Angeles textures, shotgun editing, and a palette of classic and gritty textures inspired by the color and emotion of Sad Robot and the city they live in. From the midnight gothic tones of the Normandie’s turn of the last century lobby to the warm sunlit tones of its rooftop at sunset, the video is a moving mural about letting go and starting over.
