In a post-apocalyptic world, a mysterious young girl arrives at a new school. The existing students are suspicious when she displays remarkable intelligence, but one boy takes a liking to her. Meanwhile, her parents have a dark secret - she is a robot built to comfort her neurotic mother. Abandoned by her sole companion to the cruelties of his friends, she self-destructs rather than live in a loveless world. |
