Gillick, an insomniac, has not slept in 397 hours. His life has become a blur and finds it hard to perceive true reality. He finally subsides into the depths of his consciousness where he returns to his natural state of being. He wakes up in his room where for a split second life is back to normal. As he glances in the mirror he finds his face to be wildly distorted, but on the second glance he finds himself normal again. It isn’t until he encounters his friend Oliver when he realizes his entire world has been distorted and embarks on an odd journey to find his girlfriend. |
